The Forum Photos

All photos on this page were taken by grahambergdahl.com.

On Saturday, 23rd January 2016 a range of people gathered to pose their questions to a carefully selected panel of Christian leaders (see the photo below)*. The idea: questions are OK.

When I was flyering and knocking on doors for The Forum, one local middle-aged man started ranting and raving about how religious leaders were afraid of one letter of the alphabet: the letter 'y'. I could feel the pain and passion and listened while he shared his experiences and how he had come to this conclusion.  He wasn't the only one with such views.  In fact, such encounters made it very clear in my mind that The Forum was long overdue and must happen. Well, it did and as I sat on the stage with the panellists, I felt a sense of peace and pride. Peace and pride because, though not a packed room, each person came with an open mind and pride because the questions were well thought of and responded to that it made all the hard work incredibly worthwhile. I'm very much looking forward to the next forum!

Anyway, enough from me. Here are a few thought from others:

Well done, it was enjoyable. You're a natural presenter.  Benny

Thanks for the invite. It was a great panel and I thoroughly enjoyed the discussion. Annell

Congrats for today! Pizza was yum! It was good idea for people to put questions in box in case they're too shy to ask. Vanessa

The Forum was a great event 👍.  Well done for organising it so successfully and thanks for the invite!

The Forum was very good- well done! Obi

Thanks Ijeoma, I really enjoyed it. A.F

A massive thank you to the Resource for London, the selected panel and mostly to Ijeoma Nwaneri for hosting The Forum today. The food was excellent-- the 3 vegetarian pizza slices I had were brilliant. Listening to the [panellists] give their detailed answer to question[s] put to them was refreshing to hear and other guests situations and their experiences. Jonathan

I enjoyed it but the time was too short… Ije was superb she deserves a medal. Connie

Absolutely brilliant! Really enjoyed that. Challenged some of my views and perceptions. I loved the honest conversation and general interaction. Refreshments were awesome and so the childcare and parking provision. Bless you Ije you will see me for the next one def worth the journey! Lobeh

For those of you who were there, thank you for all your feedback and please do enjoy the photos below. For those of you who missed out, I hope this page will whet your appetite enough to make you want to be there next time.

A big thank you to all my helpers without whom The Forum could not have happened!

Just one more thing:
